[NEWS]: NEW BORN SAGA WON "MOST AFRICAN ORIENTED COMIC" @ LAGOS COMIC CONVENTION 2016.

New born Saga WON "Most African Oriented" comic book at the just concluded LAGOS COMIC CON 2016, which took place at NECA House, Alausa, Lagos last weekend (17th of September, 2016).

LAGOS COMIC CON is Nigeria’s first popular culture convention that happens once every year in the city of Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

The biggest Geek Event was one of the biggest in the city of Lagos because lot of Comic Enthusiasts gathered for the 5th Edition of the #LagosComicConvention.

Their mission is to showcase the artistic skills of African comic artists, animators and filmmakers to the rest of the world and bring back the comic culture. And that was no doubt accomplished with plethora of comic artists, animators and filmmakers who turned up at the event displaying their amazing creative work of art.

NEW BORN SAGA is an epic series that unveils world of Myth, folklore, Fantasy and Legends from the motherland (Africa), illustrated by Peter Daniel the Creative Director for PEDA STUDIO.

He is set to launch first of its kind in Africa a comic that unveils true heroes from various continent in Africa. Working with talented, creative and extraordinary artists and writers to MAKE THIS A REALITY.

Summary of the ARTIST:

Peter Daniels is the Creative Director @PEDASTUDIO LTD, born and bred in Lagos Nigeria.

He is the creator of New Born Saga & Tek Kids, while growing up he love watching cartoons and reading comics from the Western world but find something missing in it.

Because of his African root he decided to come up with something different from the Western comic which is based on fantasy, Myth, folklore and past heroes of Africa.

NEW BORN SAGA is the  unification of Africa legacy!
